Katy is a regulatory affairs leader with broad experience spanning strategy, operations, policy, and advocacy across medicines, medical devices, and other regulated classifications for almost 20 years. With a career that covers the full spectrum from new product development through to lifecycle management, she brings a rare combination of strategic insight and practical know how.

Passionate about developing people as much as products, Katy has a strong track record in mentoring early career regulators and equipping teams to thrive in complex, fast changing environments. Most recently, she has gained an interest in the opportunities and challenges artificial intelligence creates for the regulatory profession, particularly its impact on traditional skill-building.

Known for blending vision with actionable strategies, Katy is keen to open the debate as leaders, organisations and the professional as a whole look to a future where AI and human judgment have to sit alongside each other.
