Kieran Maher, MSc, (he/him/his)

Associate Director, Global Regulatory Intelligence & Policy
Alexion/AstraZeneca

With almost 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Kieran is an experienced regulatory professional and is currently Associate Director of Regulatory Intelligence and Policy at Alexion/AstraZeneca.
After several years working in quality roles, Kieran's initial opportunity in RA involved CMC. With further regulatory roles in national, regional and global positions, Kieran has comprehensive experience of most aspects of drug development, clinical trials and life-cycle management. Kieran has previously worked with Pfizer (Wyeth) and Sanofi in a variety of roles. Kieran joined Alexion in 2020 to work in Regulatory Intelligence and Policy and has cemented the integration of Alexion Intelligence and Policy into the AstraZeneca network.
Kieran has a background in Chemistry (BSc & MSc) and subsequent training in Pharmaceutical Medicine (Grad Dip).
