Cornelia Bigler holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Ph.D. in Medical Biology from the University of Basel. She joined Swissmedic in 2010. As a Regulatory Manager and Deputy Unit Head in the Regulatory Assessment Department, she is responsible for the evaluation of submissions for new and known active substances in the oncology field. Since 2020, she has been actively involved in international platforms as a member of the Access Generics and New Active Substance Working Groups.
