Bruno Oliveira is a Materials Engineer with a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering. He has spent his 15-year career working for medical device manufacturers and importers, medical device testing laboratories, and consulting firms specializing in the market access for these products. He has worked across the various processes that compose their lifecycle, always with a focus on ensuring timely regulatory compliance. His experience includes Regulatory Strategy and Operations, Quality Management Systems, Post-market Surveillance Systems, Conformity Assessment Processes, Design Controls, Risk Management, Clinical Affairs, and Clinical Operations, having worked especially with complex and high-risk devices in various territories: Brazil/Latin America, European Union, USA, Canada, Australia, and the MDSAP Program.
He is currently the CMO at MSC MED, Coordinator of the ABNT Cardiovascular Implants and Extracorporeal Systems Study Committee (CE 26:070.002, mirror of ISO TC 150 / SC 2) and Brazilian expert at ISO for other study groups on topics such as Quality Management, Risk Management, and Clinical Development. He also serves as National Vice-Chair of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) for Brazil.
