Grit Kasper, PhD (she/her/hers)

Dr. Grit Kasper is a Senior Consultant at Metecon GmbH, Germany, specialized in European medical device regulations with a focus on clinical evidence generation, clinical evaluation, and post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF). She advises manufacturers on navigating the complex regulatory landscape of the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
Before joining Metecon in 2019, Dr. Kasper spent nine years in the medical device industry, serving as Senior Study Manager in Clinical Affairs and Senior Project Manager in R&D for an international manufacturer of implantable medical devices. In these roles, she gained hands-on experience in developing clinical strategies and implementing them for a successful market approval of Medical Devices. Her career began in academic research as Head of a Research Group at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Dr. Kasper holds a degree in Medical Biotechnology and a PhD in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Berlin.
With over two decades of combined academic, industrial, and consulting experience, Dr. Kasper brings a deep understanding of both the scientific and regulatory dimensions of medical devices.
