Dr. Elke Bess is a dedicated professional with over eight years of experience at the Notified Body as an Auditor, Product Assessor, and Clinical Specialist. In her current role as the Corporate Regulatory Affairs Coordinator at TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH, she orchestrates stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance in the medical field and actively participates in related committee work.
Dr. Bess is an active member of ISO/TC 194/WG 4, contributing to the development of international standards for the clinical investigation and evaluation of medical devices in humans. Her professional background includes experience with medical device manufacturers and clinical research organizations.
As a biologist, Dr. Bess holds a PhD in cardiovascular research.
