Jean McKenzie, MSc

Cluster Manager: Cardiovascular
DEKRA Certification B.V.

Jean McKenzie is the Cluster Manager for the cardiovascular medical devices team at DEKRA Certification B.V. A chemist by education, she worked in academia for a number of years before entering the medical device industry in the area of research and development for drug eluting stents and related interventional cardiology devices. She initially joined the non-active medical devices team at DEKRA Certification B.V. in the Netherlands as an auditor and technical file reviewer in 2015 and has recently finished a three year term as the Principal Certification Manager. She took up her current role at the beginning of 2026. DEKRA Certification B.V. is an EU Notified Body for MDR and IVDR, MDSAP Auditing Organization and ISO 13485 Certification Body.
