Petr Braťka, Ph.D., Notified Body expert in biological safety and technical documentation assessment at the Czech Metrology Institute, is an experienced specialist in medical devices and preclinical evaluation, working at the intersection of regulatory compliance and innovative technologies. He also serves as a researcher at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University, where his work focuses on biocompatibility, Medical Device Software (MDSW), and the integration of artificial intelligence into regulatory science and metrology.
Formerly an R&D manager and CEO, Petr has led innovation-driven projects across the medical device sector, with a strong interdisciplinary background and a focus on nanotechnology. He is an active member of the Czech Medical Association, contributing to sections on Medical Biophysics and Artificial Intelligence & Innovative Digital Technologies in Medicine. Passionate about bridging regulatory requirements with emerging technologies, Petr is dedicated to advancing safe, effective, and digitally-enabled health solutions within a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
