Kristiane Schmidt, PhD (she/her/hers)

Kristiane is a Principal Consultant at Qserve located in the Netherlands. She has over 20 years of experience in the medical device and IVD industry, supporting start-ups, SMEs and multi-national manufacturers. Kristiane has hands-on experience with design, development and validation of different technology platforms such as qPCR, immunoassays, and point-of-care devices. She has expertise in the development of Clinical Trial Assays, Companion Diagnostics, conducting clinical trials for IVD devices in compliance with ISO 20916 and generation of IVDR Technical Files.
Prior to joining Qserve, Kristiane had various roles in large multi-national corporations as well as small and medium sized companies. She has a PhD in Biophysics from University of Osnabrück (DE) and a master’s degree in biotechnology from Technical University of Braunschweig (DE).
