Matteo Scarabelli, PhD (he/him/his)

After a PhD in Philosophy at Sorbonne University, Matteo spent 5 years working for a European rare disease patient organization, being responsible for the involvement of patients in regulatory and reimbursement decisions for orphan drugs. During that time, he was part of the HTA network that designed the EU HTA regulation.
For four years now, he has been working in the market access team at the association of pharmaceutical industry in Europe (EFPIA), coordinating the EFPIA HTA working group and OMP Network, supporting companies in navigating the new EU HTA submission, and preparing for the adaptation of national HTA and reimbursement frameworks.
