Brandi Conardy is a regulatory science leader specializing in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), AI/ML-enabled technologies, and global digital health policy. With more than 20 years of experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and emerging technologies, she currently leads regulatory strategy for ophthalmic and software-driven innovations at Bausch + Lomb.
Her work focuses on the modernization of regulatory frameworks for cybersecurity, cloud-dependent medical devices, and AI lifecycle oversight. Brandi contributes to AAMI working groups on medical device security and cloud computing, where she advocates for practical, forward-leaning approaches to digital health regulation. Her technical foundation in biomedical engineering, combined with her MBA, gives her a unique ability to translate complex systems into clear, actionable regulatory strategy.
She is currently completing her Doctorate in Professional Practice in Regulatory Science and Clinical Research at Arizona State University and is pursuing a Cybersecurity Law certificate at Cornell.
