The presenter works since 2009 as project manager for a radiotherapy company.
For the last 14 years he has been involved in the development of standards in the area of radiotherapy and defines therefore the state of the art in this area.
With the first call for expert 2020 for the SNAIG ( Software Network and Artificial Intelligence advisory Group) he joined the advisory group. SNAIG reviewed national and international AI Documents from different regulatory bodies and other standard organizations and advices the IEC TC62 were new standards are need for AI or where existing standards from horizontal areas could be applied. Additionally he is also member of the PT63450 Artificial Intelligence-enabled Medical Devices” – methods for the technical verification and validation.
Recently, he joined the EN-CLC/SAG Healthcare Task Group on AI and currently serves as the Project Manager of this group. In addition, he is actively involved in the German national standardization landscape, participating in several committees where he contributes to the development of AI-related and non AI-related standards.
